Atma Veda Gana Foundation (AVGF) is a Phoenix-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating and celebrating ancient vedic traditions for modern living. For the past 15 years, AVGF has hosted transformative programs, immersive retreats, and educational workshops across the Valley and neighboring cities like Tucson.

MISSION

The primary mission of Atma Veda Gana Foundation is to educate and celebrate the Vedic Wisdom that has established its roots in the Indian sub-continent. The disciples seeks inspiration from the Vedas and through Jnana and Yajna seek the Atman by exploring both the manifest universe as well as the inner self. Gana refers loosely to an association of people coming together for the attainment of the similar goals. These are accomplished by imbibing the knowledge from, and through the blessings of GanaPati (the Master or Teacher) on this journey to self realization.

That is full (infinite). This is full. From fullness manifests fullness.

Taking away fullness from fullness, what remains is fullness (infinite).

PHILOSOPHY

Vedanta, which forms the nucleus of Dharmic philosophy, is an art of living that is applicable to humans of every religion and faith. Rooted in this is the concept of Advaita (non duality) which celebrates the residence of the Divine in every soul. The followers of this philosophy will learn the background and details behind Advaita from Vedas and Upanishads through rigorous classes, workshops and discussions. This knowledge allows an individual to treat the practical aspects of day to day life and its imperfections and allow it to co-exist in harmony with the ultimate goal of realizing the purpose of one’s role in humanity and this universe.
