BEGINNER COURSES
VE 100 SERIES
These are foundational courses meant to introduce the student familiar with Sloka and Sruthi to the Vedas and basics of invoking cosmic energies. These courses will cover the basics of intonation,
chanting and comprehension using prominent expressions
from Upanishads and Suktas.
INTERMEDIATE COURSES
VE 200 - 300 SERIES
The intermediate courses have a prerequisite of at least 2 prior AVG courses. The student is expected to know the basics of chanting and have reasonable fluency with the Pancha Suktas. At the end of the course the student will be able to fluently chant and develop a broad comprehension of the meanings, context and intent.
ADVANCED COURSES
VE 400 and Higher
The advanced courses are faster paced. The student's knowledge and familiarity with vedic constructs will be assumed and proficiency with the Pancha Suktas is required. Students will be expected to fluently chant and demonstrate a broad comprehension of the meanings, context and intent.
Under the able guidance of senior instructors, the aspiring group of students seek to expand their Veda Jnana through rigorous practice and commitment. The disciples will also provide a avenue for community members to support their commitment through hosted residential programs. It is their belief that these discussions will deepen the involvement of the community as well as stimulate lateral thinking in the curious mind of intelligent skeptics.
Below is a progression of AVG students and the prescribed syllabus.
