SPRING 2020 Course Registrations

VE 240 (ManaNyasa III) - Chandler / Tempe

This is an intermediate level course offered to aspiring Ritwiks that want to fully master the Rudra Namaka Chamaka. The course builds upon the foundation set in VE237 and VE239 and will dive into parts of MahaNyasa (cleansing of the five koshas). Strong familiarity with AVG basics and methods of learning is required. This will be fast paced to allow significant portion of the material to be covered. At the end of this course, the student will be able to fluently chant the material learned in this course with an open book and develop a broad comprehension of the meanings, context and intent. Demonstration of  mastery in vedic chanting through field internships and workshops is a must. This will deepen their proficiency and enables them to give back to the community.  13 week course with breaks in-between. No Refunds will be provided after the first week.

VE 140 (Suktas III) - Chandler / Tempe

This is a intermediate level course for newcomers to AVG. Students are expected to have taken 1-2 prior AVG courses as pre-requisites (from VE101 to VE130). The student must be able to demonstrate proficiency with basics of intonation, chanting and procedures. Focus will be on continuing education with Pancha Suktas. In addition some specific suktas associated with cetain energies (Bhoo, Durva, Mrittika, Rudra, Vishnu and so on ) will be explored.   13 week course with breaks in-between. No Refunds will be provided after the first week.

This is a beginner leve course for newcomers to the AVG syllabus. The student will demonstrate proficiency with basics of intonation, chanting and procedures. Focus will be on mastering chanting on simple verses from various suktas. At the end of the course, the student will be able to chant the vimshat gayatris fluently and discuss the fundamental associaton of Vyahrutis (energies and deities). 13 week course with breaks in-between. No Refunds will be provided after the first week
